GalaXY Kats is an NFT project featuring 10,000 uniquely designed meerkats. While the NFTs serve as entry points to the GameFi world, the brand has since expanded into the DeFi space as well. This evolution posed a challenge: creating a visual identity adaptable to both markets while maintaining a cohesive brand presence.
ABOUT THE PROJECT
GalaXY Kats is an NFT project featuring 10,000 uniquely designed meerkats that serve as entry points to the GameFi ecosystem. As the brand expanded into the DeFi space, a key challenge emerged: crafting a visual identity that could balance trustworthiness and innovation while still conveying a sense of fun and playfulness rooted in gaming culture.
In addition to spanning two fast-evolving industries, the project frequently collaborates with external teams and partner brands. This created a need for consistent visual communication across social media, where content is often produced by different contributors. The solution focused on three core areas:
Logo optimization for better scalability and recognizability across digital platforms.
Development of a comprehensive brand guideline that defined tone and voice, typefaces, color palette, and logo usage to ensure visual consistency in all collaborative and promotional materials.
Establishing a more "enterprise-grade" identity to build credibility and appeal to both investors and users in the DeFi and GameFi spaces.
This brand system not only strengthened GalaXY Kats’ visual coherence but also helped increase its social media visibility by 30%. The project sold out all 10,000 NFTs on launch day, becoming the first fully sold-out NFT project in Taiwan.
